Q. What should I look for when choosing a school?

A: We recommend checking admission requirements, instructor qualifications, training facilities and equipment. A visit to the admissions department is wise to receive detailed course information.

Q. How much does it cost to attend Algonquin Careers Academy?

A: Our full time diploma programs range in length from 21 weeks (five months) to 28 weeks (seven months) including related co-op work placement. The total cost of our programs including tuition and learning materials is approximately $1000 a month. In assessing this cost, you need to understand our strong belief that our programs are delivered in a focused, concentrated manner such that five to seven months at Algonquin Careers Academy is equivalent to two or three years at a community college. Can you afford to wait two or three years to launch your new career?

Q: What does it mean to attend a school that has programs endorsed by CITC?

A: It provides you with the assurance that the level of education you will receive from ACA is industry validated and meets the skills and knowledge requirements of the occupational standards to be successful as a travel counsellor.

Q: Will ACA assist me with my job search once I have graduated from the program?

Q: Can international students attend your school?

A: Yes. International students are most welcome.

Q. Are your graduates getting employed?

A: We are very glad you asked this question! Our students are some of the most successful in obtaining employment of all students at public and private colleges in Ontario! The government of Ontario engages a third party organization to confirm graduation rates and employment rates of graduates six months after graduation. This information is available on the government web site: http://osap.gov.on.ca/eng/intro.htm. Based on the currently published information, 89.1% of our students graduated and 89.5% where employed six months after graduation!

Q: Can I apply for Financial Assistance?

A: Yes, if you qualify for Student Loans in either Ontario or Quebec. Our Financial Aid Administrator will assist you with the necessary applications
